Welcome to AI Topics (American Association for Artificial Intelligence)(About) AI TOPICS is a special web site provided by the American Association for Artificial Intelligence [AAAI] for students, teachers, journalists, and everyone who would like to explore what artificial intelligence is, and what AI scientists do.
Our goal is to offer a limited number of exemplary, non-technical resources that we have organized and annotated to provide you with meaningful access to basic, understandable information about the AI universe.
MAPLE Lab @ UMBC Multi-Agent Planning and Learning(About) "exploring artificial intelligence..."
The Multi-Agent Planning and Learning Lab at UMBC is devoted to exploring artificial intelligence and developing A.I. solutions to real-world problems. Our interests and current projects span both the theoretical and practical aspects of artificial intelligence.
Our research reaches outside of multiagent systems, planning, and machine learning to include cognitive science, computational sociology, bioinformatics, and human-computer interaction.
Cognition, Robotics, and Learning (CORAL) Lab Home(About) Research in the Cognition, Robotics, and Learning (CORAL) lab seeks to understand how artificial systems can acquire grounded knowledge from sensori-motor interaction with their environment that enables cognitive activities like natural language communication and planning.
Stanford Knowledge Systems, AI Laboratory(About) KSL conducts research in the areas of knowledge representation and automated
reasoning in the Artificial Intelligence Laboratory of the Department of Computer Science at Stanford University. Current work focuses on enabling technology for the Semantic Web, hybrid reasoning, explaining answers from heterogeneous applications, deductive question-answering, representing and reasoning with multiple contexts, knowledge aggregation, ontology engineering, and knowledge-based technology for intelligence analysts and other knowledge workers.
